Blanka


Variety of white currant, medium-late as ripening period. Highly productive, it prefers fresh and well-drained soils. The bunch is long and compact. Blanka produces light yellow fruits, with an excellent sugar content.
Tree: Very vigorous shrub with a basically erect growth habit. It may need to support branches, which are very long.

Maturation: Medium-late ripening time, about 10 days after red currant cultivars.
Fruit: The white currant bunch is large, long and compact. The single fruit is light yellow colored, round and firm.
Taste: With few rather large seeds, white currants have a flesh of good taste due to the sugar content and low acidity.
