Granny Smith


For its intense green colour it is well known as "the green apple". It is characterized by a juicy taste, rather acidulous, and by a particularly compact and firm flesh.
Tree: High vigour tree with upright/expanded habit, it has good productivity.

Maturation: Late, about +30 Golden B.
Fruit: Medium large fruit, green colour which sometimes takes light yellow or pinkish tones not very appreciated, covered by white lenticels.
Taste: White flesh with occasionally green veins, crunchy, juicy, acid and aromatic.
