Rootstock obtained from the stump, today it is used for low density orchard, due to its high vigor. It adapts to different types of soil, both dry and calcareous. Good resistance to cold. Compatible with all major varieties, it is preferable to use it with "spur" varieties. The entry into production is rather slow, but with a high and constant productivity over time. Not very sensitive to collar rot (Phytophtora cactorum).
