Variety which got its name from the features of the fruit that remind aubergine for colour and shape.
Tree:
Vigorous variety, with irregular habit, very resistant; leaves are pentalobate or trilobate.
Maturation:
First production fruits: mid-July.
Second production fruits: mid-September.
Fruit:
First production fruits: large size, ovoidal shape, light purple colour of the skin.
Second production fruits: smaller than first ones, the colour of the skin is purple-grey.
Taste:
First and second production fruits: flesh is pink, sweet, aromatic and good taste.
