Passa Crassana


Ancient variety of french pear with autumnal-wintry ripening time that got great success in Emilia in the first half of the last century.
Tree: Pear tree with basically erect habit, characterized both by a high vigour and a copious and intense production if adequately pruned.

Fruit: Greenish-yellow fruit covered by a slight russeting and several lenticels of small size; it has a big size, middleweight over 260/270 grams.
Taste: Its yellowish-white flesh is very consistent and it presents good organoleptic qualities, it is sugary and pleasantly acidulous.
