Staymanred®


This variety is a mutation of the old “Stayman Winesap” and it is the best variety that lovers of Stayman could plant. Fruits are much more colorful than S. Winesap but for the rest they are completely similar.
Tree: Apple tree with upright habit, medium vigour and high but inconstant production; it has a slow fructification.

Maturation: Medium, about +20 Golden B.
Fruit: Fruit of large size and green/yellow skin, red overcoloured for 3/4 of the surface and with medium-small lenticels; it has a truncated-conical shape.
Taste: Its cream colored flesh is firm, very sweet, aromatic and scarcely acid.
