Stanley
The most famous cultivar of european plum and even one of the most precocious. The tree is rustic and very productive. Its fruit is large size, with dark violaceous blue skin, yellow-green flesh, very firm, freestone and little aromatic.
Tree:
Medium vigour tree with semi-expanded habit and high and constant productivity.
Flowering:
Medium-late blossoming, essentially self-fertile, but its already abundant production can be increased with pollinators: Bluefre, President and D'Ente 707
Maturation:
Medium, about + 40 Shiro.
Fruit:
Medium fruit of ellipsoidal-elongated shape, with the typical violaceous-blue colour of european plum, very pruinous.
Taste:
Yellow-green flesh, very firm and freestone. Excellent taste, sweet but not very aromatic.
