Chester (Thornless)


Late thorn-free blackberry variety which shows to be very vigorous. This cultivar is quite rustic and in particular it can well bear cold climate. Chester produces quite big blackberries, black in color, which can become lighter or more intense depending on solar exposition. Berries are suitable for both the fresh and the processing market.
Tree: Thorn-free very vigorous and productive branches. The tree presents an upright habit which needs time.
