Invicta

Variety of "green" gooseberry with an early ripening season. As the white variety White Smith, fruits are both quite light-colored and with excellent flavor. Invicta can have a pinkish blush.
Tree: Vigorous and thorny shrub with a good resistance to oidium.
Editor: Unpatented.
Maturation: Early ripening time comparing to the other gooseberry varieties (red and white).
Fruit: Invicta produces yellow-green, opaque, gooseberries although it is usually considered as a green variety fruit. Slightly elongated shape and firm.
Taste: Gooseberries have pleasant flavor, not aromatic.
