Paulownia

Paulownia BIO 125/P is a hybrid obtained by a cross and subsequent selection from the two species Paulownia Elongata x Paulownia Fortunei and field tested in different soil and climate environments, showing remarkable adaptability.

The plant has high vigor resulting in a high growth rate; the habit is erect: it can reach 10-15 m in height; budding is medium-early. Since it is a hybrid its seeds are not viable so it is not an invasive species. Its wood is of excellent quality; it needs abundant irrigation, especially during the growth and development stages, and we suggest a 5x5 m planting sixth arranged in staggered rows.

Tree: Very fast growing with excellent wood quality.

Flowering: Abundant and purplish in color. It has excellent melliferous capacity.
