Sangiovese Grape

Originating in Tuscany, it has spread throughout Italy and is among the most common and popular grape varieties.

Fruit:
Cluster medium - large pyramid-shaped, compact with one or two wings. Berry medium - large, sub-rounded, with very pruinose, purplish-black skin.
Taste:
It produces a wine with a dry, somewhat tannic flavour, a ruby colour, a slightly bitter aftertaste and discrete resistance to ageing.
