(Selection of P. Cerasifera)

Rootstock for cherry of Spanish origin, induces very good vigor and strong anchoring. It adapts very well to limestone, asphyxiated and heavy soils. It increases the production efficiency compared to Prunus Avium, obtaining better results compared to the rootstocks more used in difficult areas. Slow fruit set. Its most interesting feature is its good resistance to Armillaria, therefore it is also used as an intermediate on Marianna 2624 (Marianna x Adara, with a more limited vigor).
