Black Amber


Mid-season plum cultivar, very productive. Black Amber produces large, round and simmetric plum. Fruit has dark purple skin, almost black when it is mature. Plum can maintain good production with dryness.
Tree: Tree is quite vigorous, very productive and upright growth habit.

Flowering: Early blossoming period. Not self-fertile. Recommended pollinator: Friar.
Maturation: Mid-season ripening time, about 8 days after Shiro in Italy.
Fruit: Fruit of large size, round, flat ends, the shell-intensive grainy, dark purple in color.
Taste: Flesh is yellowish (amber) in color, with red grains, firm and juicy. Flesh almost attached to the core.
