Gisela®12

P.Canescens x P.Cerasus
New dwarfing rootstock that induces a vigor similar to Gisela®6, but with stronger growth in some conditions: in Europe it was used in sites where Gisela®6 had given stability problems (windy areas with heavy rainfall). It induces a more controlled productivity than Gisela®5 and Gisela®6, quick fruiting and excellent size. With regular pruning it is possible to maintain this excellent characteristic over time. Gisela®12 also adapts to warmer climates than Gisela®6 and is classified as tolerant to PDV and PNRSV.
