Galega Olive Tree


Olive variety of Portuguese origin, widely planted in the central-northern part of the country and also in Spain. Small to medium-sized olive, suitable both for pressing and as a table olive.

Tree: Medium vigorous olive tree, erect habit, dense foliage. Early entry into production. Sensitive to cold.

Flowering: Not very abundant. Variety considered self-fertile.
Maturation: Early
Fruit: Medium-small sized olive, elongated and slightly asymmetrical. Scattered presence of small lenticels. Easy detachment of the stone from the pulp.
