Rokula
Variety of red gooseberry fruit with good vigor, but a little less prickly than Hinnomaki* and a few days later as maturation. Rokula produces good caliber fruits with a pleasant flavor.
Tree:
Plant is vigorous with upright habit. Less thorny than other varieties, Rokula is rather rustic, medium production.
Maturation:
Late ripening time, few days after Hinnomaki, the other red gooseberry variety.
Fruit:
Gooseberries are dark red, round shape and with a rather smooth skin.
Taste:
Pleasant flavor gooseberry, with high sugar level and aromatic taste.
