Angelica


Ancient variety of pear, already known in 1500 with the name of "Pera Angela". It produces fruits of medium size, with an elongated shape and a yellow color over-colored with red when kissed by the sun; excellent post-harvest conservation (over 50 days in the refrigerator).

Tree: Medium-high vigor, open habit.
Flowering: Intermediate. Not self-fertile, recommended pollinator: William.
Maturation: Intermediate and more or less at the same time of William.
Fruit: Medium caliber, elongated shape with yellow base color and pink overcolour.
Taste: Juicy, sweet and aromatic flesh.
