Ferragnes


Medium-late almond cultivar of Spanish origin. Ferragnes is very interesting both in size and beauty of the fruits. Being a not self-fertile variety, it needs pollinators. Double fruit almost completely absent. Excellent performance of the shelled fruit.
Tree: Vigorous tree, with high-productive standard.

Flowering: Medium-late blossoming time. Suggested pollinators: Tuono and Genco.
Maturation: Medium-late ripening time. (I°-ii° decades of September in Italy).
Fruit: Fruit generally hard or semi-hard, high-caliber. The almond is very attractive.
Taste: Very good taste.
