Gisela®17

P.canescens x P. Avium

New rootstock from the Gisela® family, Gisela®17 is a semi-dwarfing rootstock, with a growth similar to Maxma14. It induces rapid fruiting and excellent size. It is less demanding to soil- and climatic condition than other Gisela®s and it can also suitable for replanting. It has a more controlled production than other Gisela®, especially for the self-fertile cultivars. It is classified as tolerant to PDV and PNRSV.
