Gisela®6

P.Canescens x P.Cerasus

Dwarf cherry rootstock, obtained in Germany from the University of Giessen. Gisela®6 induces a low vigor, stronger than Gisela®5 but less than Maxma Delbard 14 brokforest. Gisela®6 is well-knowed for its fast fruit set and very good quality and size of the fruit produced. It has the same sensitivity as Gisela®5 to fungus and bacteria. It prefers fertile soils and needs irrigation system.
